Spectators

We are expecting this event to be a lot of fun! Not everyone can enter but this spectator’s package will be just as good as competing!

(plus 4% for credit card processing)

Includes:

4WD past West Eweburn Dam to the highest point of the course and the site of the 15km aid station. From here you can follow the progress of competitors across the Dam, up Jeffrey’s Hill, and then along Long Ridge, until they join you at the aid station (hot tip – bring binoculars ify ou have them). There are also spectacular panoramic views of the Maniototo plains, the Hawkdun Range and Mt Ida.
From here it’s back into the 4WD vehicles to head down the hill and a stop off at the Derelict Building aid station to watch competitors pass.
Then you will head back for a BBQ lunch with Emerson’s Brewery at the finish to watch and celebrate the competitors through the finish line!
You will be seeing competitors through 3 aid stations and the finish. However, we can’t guarantee that you will see a particular competitor through the aid stations.

Spaces are strictly limited to 40 people, so best get in quick to avoid missing out.

Please note, if adverse weather makes the 4WD trip to the high point unsafe a different route will be put in place.
